Technical Support Representative
Event 1 Software is seeking a friendly and professional individual to accept a challenging and fulfilling position in a team environment as a Technical Service Representative (TSR). One of the core requirements of this role is excellent written and verbal communication skills. This pertains to all communication with customers as well as other team members and management. In addition, applicants must have a good technical aptitude, attention to detail, the ability to learn new skills/technologies and the ability to accept and apply feedback from management and peers. Successful candidates will be self-motivated to make the best use of available time by prioritizing their tasks to according to management’s objectives and the needs of the customer.
Daily tasks for the TSR position involve handling inbound and outbound communication with customers related to software licensing, support and follow-up. Communication will be via phone or email and will involve coordination of time zones and prioritization of tasks.
Advancement from the TSR role into a more technical role is expected. Additional responsibilities could include resolution of highly technical issues for end users, Internet-based consulting, technical sales, training, and report design projects.
