Ignore missing tables
This setting is for workbooks that can be used on multiple data folders, some of which may be missing one or more data files.  For example, the TS Quick View template displays information about Job Cost and Property Management, but most data folders will not have both types of information.  Checking this box will prevent users from seeing messages about the data that does not apply to them.Persistent caching
To enhance performance, Office Connector caches function results once they have been calculated.  You can instruct Office Connector to store the function cache with the workbook in order to "float a concurrency", or to allow someone without Timberline to use the workbook.  You have the following options for persistent caching:| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| None | This is the default setting, which yields the best performance in situations where you only want to access current data.  The cache is never saved or loaded, which makes opening and closing the workbook take less time. |
| Read-only | This setting is optimized for demonstrating the software to others.  Loading the cache is faster than refreshing the data, so it takes less time to open the workbook and see data values.  Closing the workbook and switching to another one is also fast because you don’t have to wait for the cache to be saved to the workbook.  You must create the cache by saving the workbook with a setting of Read and write once before setting the persistent cache to Read-only. |
| Write-only | This setting is useful when one person has access to Timberline and distributes workbooks to people who don’t.  When you are creating a new workbook, your load times will be faster because you skip loading the cache and go straight to retrieving the current values from Timberline.  You don’t need to remember to change this setting before distributing the workbook because Office Connector will automatically read the write-only cache if the end user does not have Timberline installed. |
| Read and write | This setting is useful when you want to "float concurrencies" or only refresh your data at controlled intervals. |
